Video report for IGN: at the heart of the forests

Every year, IGN publishes a report on French forests to provide an accurate picture of this shared natural heritage. We produced a video report revealing the field survey methods used by IGN’s forestry technicians.

This year, the publication of the National Forest Inventory by the National Institute of Geographic and Forest Information (IGN) presents rather alarming results: tree mortality increased by 80% in one year, and forest decline amounts to the equivalent of 35 years of wildfires in France.
